GOLD RIVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, January 15, 2013 – The Lodge at Gold River has appointed Spectacular Ink to handle a PR campaign for this luxury lodge. Located on northern Vancouver Island’s Gold River, where renowned angler Roderick Haig-Brown lived and breathed fly-fishing, the lodge accommodates 18 guests under its handsome log construction. Operating year round, the Lodge specializes in heli-fly fishing, saltwater fishing, and lake fishing for avid anglers as well as beginners.
After a day on the water, guests return to the grand lodge for cocktails on the riverside patio to the accompaniment of fishing tales, while others perfect their technique on the casting pond, or submit to an in-room massage. The West Coast cuisine with its focus on fresh, local and in season features Vancouver Island venison, fresh seafood or Metchosin lamb. Golf, hiking, cultural tours and heli-excursions await non-anglers.
