The North Coast Destination Network today launched a major $100,000 marketing campaign. "A Breath of Fresh Air" with leading on line accommodation and airline booking agency Wotif.com promoting great deals across The Legendary Pacific Coast Touring route.
“This is The Legendary Pacific Coast's first major campaign with Australia's most popular accommodation booking agency working with a data base of more than 1.5 million subscribers to build business across our legendary destinations from the Central Coast to the Tweed,” said North Coast Destination Network Executive Officer, Ms Belinda Novicky.

“Wotif will promote TLPC with two major digitally based campaigns to its domestic data base with key destination hero images, event information, drive itineraries, video content, a campaign button on Wotif.com home page for the duration of the campaign, banners on relevant SEO pages and integration across Wotif.com social media channels,” she said.
“This is a strong, focused campaign that will benefit all Legendary Pacific Coast local government and industry partners with tactical marketing, public relations and social media campaigns scheduled from February to June.”
This major tourism initiative is funded by The North Coast Destination Network (NCDN) with its member destinations (Local Government Economic Development and Tourism units), the tourism industry and the Regional Visitor Economy Fund, administered by the NSW Government's tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
Announcing the NCDN's successful funding application to the tune of $52,500,Minister for Regional Tourism John Barilaro said, The Legendary Pacific Coast is one of Australia's premier touring routes and the NSW Government is committed to growing the State's visitor economy, and initiatives like this encourage economic growth in our regional communities.
“For the year ended September 2014 NCDN domestic visitor nights were up by 8.6 per cent to 18.8 million and total expenditure by those visitors increased 6.2 per cent to $2.6 billion,” said Ms Novicky.
