Koh Samui — W Retreat Koh Samui is throwing a party to celebrate the introduction of its new music curator Kelly Kellam on Thursday, February 26 at WOOBAR®.

Embracing one of its core passion points: music, W Retreat Koh Samui awakens the island's music scene once again, crowning a New York-based, underground dance music DJ and producer Kelly Kellam as its Music Curator. With years of spinning at different clubs around the globe, with top artists, Kellam is taking care of the music in the resort, and at W's happenings, creating an ambiance for a true W Experience..

To celebrate the introduction of the Music Curator, W Retreat Koh Samui will be bringing in the DJs for a launching party night at WOOBAR®, of which a French mixologist Leo Lottier, a Liquid Operations Manager at W Guangzhou, will create a special signature cocktail inspired by Kellam's favorite flavors. To name “The Kellam,” the new cocktail will be available for the following 90 days. Guests will also get to savor the French/Japanese fusion nibbles created by one-Michelin-star chef Laurent Peugeot (served from 6-8pm).  

The party is taking place on February 26, from 4 PM – midnight at WOOBAR®. Entry is 500 THB per person after 6 PM (Free entry before 6 PM).

Also known as KELLAM, Kelly Kellam is a New York City based DJ and producer who lives for music. He has an incredible ability to interweave melodic instrumentation with electronic dance music always perfectly attuned to setting the perfect vibe.  Kelly's deep grooved rhythms are dynamic and energetic, and whether he is spinning a dreamy melodic set during sunset, or a driving dark tech house set he never fails to keep you moving. Kelly has DJ'd at innumerable events, top clubs and festivals all over the western hemisphere, including OUTPUT (NYC), Treehouse (Miami), Bardot (LA) and even countless DJ sets at Burning Man.  In the past few years alone he has shared the stage with notable artists such as Damian Lazarus, Eric Volta, Phonique, Nico Stojan, Behrouz, Claptone, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Rony Seikly, and Anthony Attalla to name only a few.
