With a variety of packages available to suit every bride and groom, Natural Retreats weddings at the Yorkshire Dales are tailored to meet couples' every whim.

Offering a unique venue at The Sanctuary, versatile outdoor space, awe-inspiring views across Swaledale and a rustic ambience, Natural Retreats Yorkshire Dales is the ideal spot for a charming English countryside wedding. With a personal wedding planner on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly, couples barely have to lift a finger. From pre-wedding spa treatments to fresh flower arrangements on the big day, all aspects can be taken care of, ensuring that the bride and groom are completely relaxed to say 'I do'.

The Sanctuary

Stylish and spacious, The Sanctuary is the perfect venue for both the ceremony and the reception. Bathed in natural light with an expanse of glass, The Sanctuary boasts incredible views and creates a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. Whether the bride and groom want a sit-down breakfast reception for up to 100 people or a lavish evening event hosting up to 200 guests, The Sanctuary provides the perfect setting. There are three rooms of varying size to choose from, or couples can hire the whole space for larger weddings. Indeed, for the grandest affairs, add a marquee or quirky tepee-style tent on the adjacent land, adding even more space for revellers to celebrate and dance the night away. On the other end of the spectrum, those looking for a small and intimate ceremony can enjoy the beautiful Aislabeck room; a beautifully presented and delightful suite perfect for a more private affair.

Wining & Dining

Natural Retreats offers a mouth-watering selection of dishes to suit every taste and every budget. Carefully selected caterers ensure that guests receive only the very best in food and service. Upon arrival, guests receive welcome drinks, with a delicious selection of canapés, from succulent tiger prawns to tasty quail's eggs, as an optional extra. There are a variety of menu options available; the Silver Wining & Dining Package offers delicious delights such as honey roast duck breast, tenderloin of pork and profiteroles, while the Platinum Wining & Dining Package provides pure indulgence, with treats such as caramelised red onion and goat's cheese tart and fillet of English beef with béarnaise sauce. With delicious wine throughout the meal and crisp champagne for the toasts, attendees will feel well and truly spoilt. Traditional English touches such as cans of Pimm's and miniature Yorkshire puddings add a real sense of quirky British character to the proceedings.

Accommodation

After experiencing this unique location and truly impeccable service at Natural Retreats, guests will never want to leave; and they don't have to. With 18 beautiful 3-bed lodges on site having recently undergone impressive refurbishment, the award-winning lodges boast floor to ceiling windows and open-plan living, reinforcing the rural location and emphasising the endless stretches of beautiful countryside in all directions. Featuring state of the art commodities, stylish interiors and eco-friendly timber frames, these stylish lodges seamlessly combine sustainable living with luxury accommodation. Wood burning stoves make the properties delightfully cosy on those chillier evenings, creating a wonderful setting, while welcome hampers full of fabulous treats are sure to be an added bonus on top of the celebrations.
