THE LANGHAM, XINTIANDI LAUNCHES TIFFIN DAMIANI AFTERNOON TEA 'LADY IN PINK' COMPETITION IN SECOND PHASE OF THE PROMOTION
(Shanghai, March, 2014) Sequel to the successful launch of the Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea in December, 2013, The Langham, Xintiandi, Shanghai now takes the tea experience a notch up with the Lady in Pink promotion, engaging guests to an even more irresistible indulgent afternoon tea.
From now until 10th June, 2014, every lady who dresses in pink and orders a Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea set will be able to participate in the Lady in Pink contest with the opportunity to win the grand prize worth RMB 200,000 comprising a one-night stay in The Langham, Xintiandi Chairman Suite and Damiani's exclusive Butterfly collection diamond ring.
The Lady in Pink contest details:
- The female guest must come adorned in pink-themed ensemble in the most fashionable, creative or eye-catching way, and order a Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea set.
- Put on the hand-made Damiani Butterfly ring chocolate piece from the Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea set on her finger.
- Snap a creative picture of herself along with the Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea set.
- Post the picture on the hotel's official WeChat page.
- Top 10 photos of the Best Dressed Ladies in Pink will be selected by early June, 2014.
- On 10th June, 2014, which is The Langham's 150 Years Anniversary, The Langham, Xintiandi will host an afternoon tea party with the Top 10 Best Dressed Ladies in Pink in celebration of the big day and a grand prize Lucky Draw will take place to pick the final lucky winner of the contest.
Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea is a unique afternoon tea with a bejewelled concept in collaboration with Damiani for an edible rendition of the leading Italian luxury jewellery brand.
It features sweet and savoury bite-size delights inspired by the precious jewels of Damiani from its Belle Epoque, Butterfly, Damianissima and D.Icon collections. Each piece is precisely molded and handmade by The Langham, Xintiandi's pastry chef Delia Zhu and her team, which are added onto and improvised from The Langham's Tiffin Bijoux, one of its signature afternoon tea collections that combines fine jewellery, fashion and bespoke tea.
Guests will enjoy an afternoon tea journey down the Christofle silver tray with an artisan chocolate shoe in prominence adorned with edible cross pendants and rings. A range of colourful chocolate jewels and gems accompany the sweet and savoury selections, which include Valrhona chocolate ganache tarts, pink ginger honey ganache macaroons, and king crab and mushroom quiche with truffle essence, among others. To complete the experience, Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea is served with Bollinger Champagne, a selection of coffee and Langham's own-blend teas.
Tiffin Damiani Afternoon Tea is available at Cachet Lobby Lounge between 2:00pm to 5:00pm daily until 10th June, 2014. Each set is priced at RMB 688 for two persons, subject to 15% service charge.
