In celebration of the first-ever serving of Afternoon Tea; which took place at The Langham's sister property, The Langham, London, on 10 June 1865, The Langham, Hong Kong holds an annual 1865 Tiffin Afternoon Tea event on 10 June for just HK$1, the equivalent of its original selling price of "one shilling six pence" 148 years ago.

This year's theme is "Think Pink" and the hotel partners with Thomas Pink, the leading luxury international shirt brand specializing in the design and production of quality shirts and associated accessories for men and women.

Thomas Pink will be showcasing men and ladies outfits from the Spring Summer 2013 Collection, which combines influences from the British seaside along with inspirations from the literary Charleston set and folklore.
The uninhibited feel of a wild British garden is balanced by the more traditional sense of the seaside.

Guests can indulge in a luxurious three tiered tea stand with warm scones heaped with clotted cream and jam, delicate sandwiches, freshly made pots of steaming tea and an array of incredible pastries. While they enjoy their tea, Thomas Pink models will showcase the collections as they gently glide around Palm Court.
