Christmas is a time for giving and The Langham, Hong Kong has chosen to team up with the exceptional charity, Mother's Choice, to give those less fortunate a Christmas to remember.

Mother's Choice is a local charity that provides and promotes loving, nurturing, care for babies and children needing permanent homes. Founded in 1987, this charity is helps hundreds of families every day in Hong Kong and is vital for the local community.

Palm Court at The Langham is hosting a series of afternoon tea events called "Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea". They are asking that each person who comes along to one of these events donates an un-wrapped gift of one of the following items, for families in need:

* toiletry sets - toothbrush/toothpaste/shampoo/conditioner/shower gel * teddy bear (under 6 inches tall) * newborn baby clothes * newborn diapers

Mother's Choice kindly requests these gifts to be brand new and not wrapped.

These events will take place on 11,12,18,21 and 23 December, from 3:00pm until 5:30pm. They are a perfect treat for families as each event includes a delicious afternoon tea, a visit from Santa Claus, with a gift for children, and Christmas story telling. The tea is priced at HK$198 per adult and HK$128 per child.
