THE LANDMARK LONDON LAUNCHES WEDDING MASTERCLASSES IN FEBRUARY 2016 

From February 2016, 5-star luxury hotel The Landmark London is delighted to be launching a series of new wedding masterclasses, teaching all important lessons in preparing for the big day. Perfect for bridal parties, hen weekends or those simply looking to brush up on some new skills, these exclusive masterclasses – including make-up tutorials, floristry and cake decoration – have been established in partnership with some of London's finest creative talents.

The first class, led by renowned make-up artist Catherine Bailey, commences on 21st February 2016 and will be followed by a lesson in flower arranging and the delicate art of cake decoration with Rosalind Miller Cakes. From £130 per person, the master classes also include a three course lunch and bubbly upon arrival.

Sunday 21st February: Make-up masterclass with make-up artist Catherine Bailey

Catherine Bailey has worked on numerous fashion and beauty shoots and high profile shows, including London Fashion Week and the covers of various fashion and lifestyle magazines. Her meticulous bridal make-up work has also been featured on a number of leading wedding blogs. Catherine's tutorial will lead guests through the steps involved in mastering the perfect wedding-day look for every style.

Saturday 12th March: Wedding bouquet & flower arrangement

Expert floral designers will teach guests the techniques and rules of creative styling behind the perfect bouquet, buttonhole and corsage before providing advice on some of the more complex table centre arrangements, pew ends and hair flowers. Guests will learn more about the latest colours, styles and trends and will receive guidance on seasonal availability.

Saturday 26th March: Sugar flower making & cupcake decoration with Rosalind Miller Cakes

Rosalind Miller Cakes is renowned for unique design, expertly skilled sugarcraft, and delectable flavours. Expert cake designer Rosalind has been the Winner of The Wedding Industry Awards Best Wedding Cake Designer title for two years in a row, and the accolade of The Independent's “Best Wedding Cake”. During the class guests will learn how to construct, colour and wire sugar flowers as well as mastering the skills for the perfect cupcake decoration.
