EDITORS NOTES

Notes to Editor

The Kings Head has been brought back to life following an extensive renovation. The modern boutique hotel has been innovatively designed to incorporate the preservation of original features. Oak beams, exposed brick walls, painted masonry and stone walls feature throughout the rooms and public spaces. A Roman mosaic – unearthed during a two-year archaeological dig – is displayed beneath glass flooring in the reception area.

The Kings Head is located in the heart of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire. The property is located overlooking the Market Place, opposite the famous Cirencester Church, with a commanding position in the centre of the town.

The hotel boasts 45 luxury rooms, all day dining in their atmospheric restaurant and extensive event space throughout the listed building. The subterranean spa has a deluxe thermal experience, relaxation room and treatment rooms using Monu products. Combining Cotswold character with luxury accommodation, the hotel is ideal for those looking to relax, kick back and enjoy the very best Cirencester hospitality.
