The House of Chapoutier to Showcase the Exclusive 2012 World Releases at No.8 by John Lawson

Crown Resorts

Crown's newest riverside restaurant, No.8 by John Lawson, will be showcasing world renowned Chapoutier wines' limited 2012 world releases on Monday, 31 March as part of a special, one-off wine dinner. Michel Chapoutier, seventh generation winegrower from The House of Chapoutier, has collaborated with Executive Chef John Lawson to create a delectable six course menu, matched with an exclusive first look at the 2012 world releases, all for $300 per person. Michel will share his insights into Chapoutier's 2012 vintage, contrasting the wines with older vintages as he explains the depth and aging potential of Chapoutier wines.

The Chapoutier family has been creating distinct vintages in the Rhône Valley of Southern France since 1808. The House of Chapoutier is famous for producing the finest Rhône Valley appellations, from the Côte-Rôtie, through l'Hermitage, down to the Côtes du Rhône. Chapoutier's line of vintages only yields between 300 and 800 cases each, making each variety exceptionally exclusive. The Chapoutier wine dinner at No.8 will focus on the world release of the 2012 Selections Parcellaires, showcasing the wine's power and finesse which combines the rich textures from 2010 varieties and the fragrant elegance of the 2011s.
