The Yorkshire Pudding has been made using the finest ingredients including a Beer-Fed Dexter Beef Fillet, Whole Black Perigord Truffle and even Gold Leaf!

On creating this one-off showcase masterpiece, Head Chef Adam Smith said: “This isn't something that I do every day, but for the special occasion of Yorkshire Pudding Day I've decided to combine some of the best local products with one of my favourite and most luxurious ingredients, the Black Perigord truffle, which are at their peak this time of year.

The combination of textures and flavours creates the most sensational eating experience. It's just a shame that it can't be enjoyed more often”.

The county's very own Yorkshire Pudding connoisseur and food writer, Elaine Lemm was on hand to give her expert opinion on the taste sensation that Adam presented.

Native from Yorkshire, Elaine is the author of The Great Book Of Yorkshire Pudding and appeared on BBC's The One Show in 2013 to share her top tips to create the best Yorkshire Pud, so will be looking for a truly spectacular feat!

On this expensive Yorkshire Pudding, Elaine said: “I have seen and eaten Yorkshire Puddings in many guises, but never elevated to theses lofty heights! This humble pudd has risen elegantly to the occasion!”
