The Denver International Wine Festival Celebrates Ten Years, November 19 ­– 21, 2014.

DENVER, Colorado ­- Wine Country Network, Inc., publishers of Wine Country International ® Magazine, has announced an all-star lineup for its 10th Annual Denver International Wine Festival. The DIWF was named one of the Top 10 Can't Miss Fall Wine Festivals In America by Fodor's, and one of the Top 12 Things To Do in Denver This Fall by Thrilllist.

Wine enthusiasts and foodies may join in three days of the most delicious ever, international celebration of wine and cuisine! Meet celebrity TV chef and author Sara Moulton, our honorary host of the Pairsine Chefs' Fine Food and Wine Pairing Event, featuring ten Colorado Chefs creating twenty gourmet food pairings with twenty award-winning wines. Sara will also conduct cooking demonstrations at the Grand Tasting. More than 400 wines from eighteen countries will be showcased at the Tasting. This three-day festival also features select premium spirits, sake and a Colorado Craft Beer Garden.

Ten Chefs/Restaurants/ Twenty Gourmet Food Pairings with Twenty highly awarded wines

Our signature culinary event, Pairsine Chefs' Food and Wine Pairing Competition on Thursday, November 20, pairs Gold Medal wines from The Denver International Wine Competition with inventive cuisine prepared by some of America's most creative chefs.

 

While the event is sometimes referred to as “Iron Chef ™ ” meets wine, participating chefs have no secret ingredient to cook. Their challenge is to create two spectacular wine pairings with just one week's notice! They are each assigned two Gold Medal wines (one white and one red) one week before the competition, and have only that short time to taste and develop their custom paired dishes.  Bravo TV's Top Chef Season 5 Winner Hosea Rosenberg is a three-time champion of The Taste of Elegance (2006, 2007, and 2008) and was our celebrity judge in 2009 and 2010.

Celebrity Chef Sara Moulton will conduct cooking demonstrations and create samples of fabulous duck dishes at the Maple Leaf Farms booth!

All ticket holders receive one European-made festival logo wine glass ($15 value).

 

The Grand Tasting of International Wines and Food is the region's largest tasting event for consumers, media and the trade. More than sixty wineries, breweries and distilleries will showcase their products. VIP ticket holders gain two-hour early access, exclusive entrance to the VIP lounge with its chef station and rare beverages, and complimentary admission to educational seminars and guided tastings.
