The Crown & Garter pub, restaurant with rooms is celebrating! Since the rural pub opened its doors on the 8th September 2014, it has scooped several accolades including: 'Best Newcomer Pub for the South East & London Region' at the Great British Pub Awards, gained a highly respectable One Star Sustainability Rating from recognised body, the Sustainable Restaurant Association for its commitment to sustainability in three key areas: sourcing, society and environment and was shortlisted for 'Best Gourmet Bolthole 'in the Food & Travel Awards! 

The pub's ethos is: 'to serve good food, simply cooked, nothing too fussy'. The Crown & Garter pub, restaurant with rooms prides itself on sourcing and using local food and produce and supports local breweries within the area. It also provides staff with a living wage, does not include a service charges on the bills and staff receive all of their tips. The pub champions micro-distilleries and serves a range of spirits produced by small, independent distilleries.

The Crown & Garter is located at: Great Common Road, Inkpen Common, Near Hungerford, Berkshire, RG17 9QR.  It is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday from 12.00pm-2.00pm and 6.30pm-9.00pm and on Sunday from 12.30pm-2.30pm.
