Foodies are in for a treat when they book in at The Black Swan in Helmsley for the hotel's one or two night gourmet stay, 'To Dine For' which includes Chef Paul Peters' ten-course 'Signature' menu, guaranteed to inspire and surprise even the most accomplished diners.
 

This exciting menu infuses the best of Yorkshire ingredients with creative food combinations, exciting taste bud-popping flavours and modern simplicity. It is the creation of Australian-born Chef, 'Gastro-artist', Paul Peters.

'My passion for food arose as a child. My joy as a Chef especially comes from delighting my diners at The Black Swan. I bring a unique creativity to the abundance of fresh Yorkshire produce that we are blessed with. Exciting combinations of flavours in the menu include  Lime, Elderflower, Matcha green tea and Lemongrass and Popcorn, Caramel, Malt and Sea salt.'
 

The hotel's 2AA restaurant, 'The Gallery' is a superb setting for Peters' artistically inspired menu as it has a dual function, being an art gallery as well as a restaurant. Diners can enjoy the ambience of the stylish modern décor and starlit ceiling, highlighted with original works of art. During the day time, the restaurant is full of natural light and also enjoys view of the pretty walled gardens, its verdant shades complementing the surroundings.
 

The one-night option of 'To Dine For' is offered at £209 per couple and includes:

-'Sweet treats' upon arrival (mini patisserie served in one of the hotel lounges from the hotel's award-winning Tearoom)

-Ten-course taster Signature menu, served in 'The Gallery'

-Accommodation in a double or twin guest room

-Full Traditional Yorkshire breakfast  
 

Stay a 2nd night and enjoy the timeless ritual of Afternoon Tea in the hotel's award-winning tearooms, and a three-course dinner in the restaurant chosen from the Market Menu, Full Traditional Yorkshire breakfast is also included. The additional night is just £189 per couple (based upon two sharing a guest room)
