Luxperience is seeing considerable growth in the number of luxury operators from Pacific destinations choosing to exhibit this year.
“This year we've seen substantial growth in the number of tourism operators from destinations including Fiji and Tahiti,” says CEO Lindy Andrews.
“Clearly the resilient Australian market is important for these destinations, and they also benefit from the access Luxperience gives them to markets further afield.”
Tahiti Tourisme has chosen to exhibit this year as part of a campaign to promote its new global brand identity. The new brand targets the "discerning explorer" demographic and aims to position Tahiti as the world's pre-eminent island destination.
Tahiti Tourisme Director Australia (and New Zealand) Robert Thompson said the new brand delved deeper into the destination drawing on its unrivalled natural beauty, secluded luxury and authentic culture.
“Luxperience is a good fit for us, demonstrating that luxury and experiential travel go hand in hand,” Mr Thompson said.
Vomo Island Resort is just one example. According to Janet Chan, Vomo's Director of Sales & Marketing, it's all part of their grand plan.
“In conjunction with Tourism Fiji, we are keen to promote Fiji as a luxury travel destination for both couples and families. Luxperience is the perfect platform for us, both for business and social networking.”
Qamea Resort and Spa, also in Fiji, sees Luxperience as the ideal place to align their brand and unique guest experience with the best partners in the industry.
