If you liked Nick Baker on BBC's Springwatch, Weird Creatures and his most recent series, Wild West (third and last instalment coming up this Friday) you might well be interested to learn that he's leading two groups for Reef & Rainforest in 2016.

The first is a family group to Belize, exploring in depth the rainforest and barrier reef. The lucky families will stay in a jungle lodge from where they canoe into caves, slide down zip lines, climb Mayan pyramids and walk in the rainforest looking for wildlife. Then comes an idyllic coral island, with days spent snorkelling on the reef and taking boat trips to other islands for frigatebird rookeries and different reef sites.

Nick's second group tour is for adult natural history buffs and takes in Peru's amazing Manu National Park whose biodiversity (according to UNESCO) “exceeds that of any other place on Earth”. Starting in the high Andes with its stunted flora, the group descends through lush cloud forest to the Amazon basin for clay licks packed with macaws and parrots, rivers patrolled by giant otters, and rainforest inhabited by countless birds, mammals, reptiles and invertebrates.
