Clanranald, the world's leading battle performance group are preparing to go into battle at Bannockburn Live on Saturday 28and Sunday 29 June.

The battle performances will take place as part of a two day festival that will immerse visitors in history and culture, commemorating the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn. As well as watching the battle performances, visitors will be able to enjoy the very best of Scottish folk music, food and drink.

Clanranald are famous for their expertly choreographed performances and have appeared in major Hollywood films Gladiator, Robin Hood and Thor II.

At Bannockburn Live visitors can step back in time to June 1314 in the medieval encampment and discover their ancestry in the clan village featuring 40 clans from across the UK. There will also be a Storyville with theatre, storytelling, stand-up comedy and debates, and a taste bud-tingling Food and Drink village where you can enjoy the very best in Scottish produce including whiskies, real ales, seafood and meet the producers.

And if all that's not enough, Scottish music artists will take to the Music Arena stage with headline acts Dougie MacLean (Saturday night) and Julie Fowlis (Sunday night). Other acts to appear include Rura, The Deadly Winters, Treacherous Orchestra and Roddy Hart & The Lonesome Fire amongst others.
