LAS VEGAS -- The ACT Las Vegas, the brainchild of New York City nightlife and theater impresario Simon Hammerstein, offers a uniquely over-the-top experience, complete with avant-garde theatrical performances and audience involvement. Ushering in a dramatic new era of Las Vegas nightlife, The ACT is now showing Wednesday through Saturday at The Shoppes at The Palazzo. The performance-based nightclub entertains up to 1,000 revelers with nightly acts, including boundary-pushing audience participation, in a 9,600-square-foot, multilevel space inspired by the dark romance of bygone eras.

"The ACT offers a quality of nightlife never before witnessed on The Strip," says Hammerstein. "Guests lose themselves, and their inhibitions, from the moment they pass through our storied doors, with time and place gradually losing their meaning  and the lines becoming increasingly blurred as to where the performances end and the party begins."

Presiding over The ACT Las Vegas is emcee Raven O, an eccentric talent well-known to The Box fans in London and New York City. The heavily inked Raven O - dubbed "ringleader of debauchery" -- channels a new persona for The ACT Las Vegas that is every bit as explosive as his former Devil incarnation. Nightly performances include group tableaus executed by a theatrically trained cast. High-octane glamour is delivered via The Hammerstein Beauties, classically trained dancers with an avant-garde twist.

The ACT Las Vegas houses concentric performance platforms that can be viewed from several public or private vantage points that include seating at VIP tables on the main floor, and features five intimate bars and an exclusive backstage area where VIPs can be immersed in behind-the-scenes action. Through its darkly whimsical décor, The ACT offers patrons a dreamlike theatrical experience that layers theme and history.

The ACT Las Vegas, managed by Variety Worldwide, is the latest venture by Hammerstein, a seasoned theatrical producer and artistic director with nearly two decades of experience and who has been recognized in publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times and New York Magazine. Hammerstein is also president of the widely popular variety theatre, The Box, with locations in New York City and London. The creativity that won The Box international acclaim for award-winning design, exclusive clientele, extraordinary service, innovative live theatrical
productions, and attendance by more than a million people since 2007 is channeled inside The ACT, making it the must-see highlight of the Las Vegas nightlife scene.
