Enjoy a weekend celebrating the art and wine of the Sierra Foothills at the 13th Annual Mariposa Yosemite Rotary Art & Wine Festival on Saturday, May 27 on the Mariposa Courthouse lawn in the historic town of Mariposa, California. A blending of fine art, great wine, music and early summer near Yosemite National Park, the Annual Art & Wine Festival offers an unforgettable Saturday afternoon.

The event includes a picture-perfect backdrop for the wine event: the Historic Mariposa Courthouse. Completed in 1854, the Mariposa County Courthouse was the setting for some of the most important mining legislation of the Gold Rush era and is listed on the National Register of Historic Structures. Enjoy views of this beautiful historic building the bucolic grounds which surround it while listening to live smooth jazz and experiencing a series of tastings, including olive oils, balsalmics, wines, ciders, and even Italian ice. There will be over 30 artist booths to visit, and some of those artists will actually be creating on-site and be available to answer questions about what they are doing as they work.

Several food vendors will also be available to tantalize event goers with local foods. The event is hosted byt the Maripsoa Yosemite Rotary Club which will be on hand to provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere while raising funds for community projects in the region.
