When Heathrow's Terminal 2 opens on June 4, 2014, offering unparalleled passenger efficiency and comfort, Thai Airways will be among the first moving in.
Commenting on the move, which will take place on July 2, 2014, Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan, President of Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), said "Heathrow's new Terminal 2 will offer passengers a new travel experience that is modern and state-of-the-art. THAI will be pleased to operate the Airbus A380 to and from Heathrow's Terminal 2, enabling passengers to experience the latest in inflight products and services, with increased comfort and convenience."
When all 23 Star Alliance member airlines have been phased into Terminal 2, it will be the first time ever that they all operate from a single hub. This will provide passengers with a seamless experience, providing shorter connecting time between flights. The terminal will also have more automated processes and common facilities than currently exists in any of Heathrow's other terminals, thus providing passengers more control over their journey.
Thai Airways flies twice daily to Bangkok, leading on to over 70 cities across 5 continents. THAI constantly has special promotions so check out the website for the latest deals.
