TFE Hotels is celebrating after the HM awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence, which took place in Sydney last Friday, and saw them walk away with two awards and four commendations.

Hosted by television personality Lisa Wilkinson, the HM Awards have, for the 13th time, recognised the accommodation industry's finest staff, properties, brands and chains across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Guests including hoteliers, industry leaders and major suppliers, watched as TFE Hotels took out six awards across six categories, including overall wins in two categories.

Hotel Kurrajong Canberra was presented with the top award for Upscale Hotel, substantiating its position in the luxury hotel space and building the TFE Hotels Collection brand to be a distinguished contender.

TFE Hotels also had a win in the category of best Marketing Campaign, following their Great Weekends inaugural campaign in partnership with Velocity Frequent Flyer, which saw them giveaway a weekend every week for a year. This gave Aussies the opportunity to bring back the weekend.
