Boutique and adult-only 4* hotel, Colon Guanahani, a part of the Adrian Hoteles group, in the upmarket resort of Costa Adeje, has reopened following a €3.5 million  investment that includes the refurbishment of 78 of their 154 bedrooms and creation of a new pool deck and wellness centre.

The hotel's 62 double standard rooms have been given a fresh new look, using mushroom and ocean blue colours to create a finish that is modern but in keeping with the hotel's colonial theme. New bedroom furniture, artwork, upholstery, flooring and en-suite bathrooms have been carefully selected by furniture and interior designer, Miguel Ángel Ciganda, to offer guests greater levels of comfort, style and a more modern living environment.

Benefitting also from a similar makeover are 16 poolside rooms, which have been upgraded to double superior rooms and boast large terraces with sun loungers and separate living areas.

New to the hotel is a dedicated Wellness Centre, offering treatments and packages, a Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and sauna. A new pool also has been built on the roof of the hotel, which boasts sea views and is complete with a solarium for soaking up the rays.

The popular poolside restaurant, La Pérgola, which serves light snacks and lunches, has been renovated and modernised in line with the new look of the rooms and to increase its number of outdoor covers.

The hotel, which has built a reputation for offering impeccable service and cuisine in a relaxed informal atmosphere, has implemented these plans to meet the needs of their loyal repeat guests.
