Jousting Tournament: 'The Knights of Royal England', Falconry & Other Attractions

Enjoy an exciting historical jousting tournament from 2nd – 4th May. Recreating the glorious jousting matches of Britain's 13th Century, knights will do battle in a daring display of bravery and skill. Watch a thrilling falconry display and see the birds of prey in action. Families can also have a go at archery and watch interactive dragon puppet shows.

Blenheim Palace Food Festival

Experience Blenheim Palace's first Food Festival with cookery demos, children's workshops, foraging and stalls. Plus roaming entertainment, a hay-bale picnic area and workshops over the three days. The family-friendly three-day feast of food and drink will showcase the best in local and regional produce.

Churchill Memorial Concert

In the presence of the Duke and Duchess of Marlborough, join in the celebration of Sir Winston Churchill's life and achievements with an evening of musical entertainment in the Long Library. The former Prime Minister of Canada, Brian Mulroney, will be the guest speaker for the evening and pay tribute to Sir Winston Churchill through his own words. Funds raised from the concert will be donated to both national and local charities.

Churchill Commemorative Day

Saturday 9 May celebrates the 75th anniversary since Winston Churchill became the Prime Minister and VE Day. Experience activities, tours, and special events throughout the day at Blenheim Palace. From hourly tours looking at Churchill's early life to the Winston Churchill Premier Tea complete with Pol Roger Brut Réserve NV; to the Walk in Churchill's Footsteps indoor and outdoor trail journeying through the life and achievements of Churchill. Finish the day in the new Churchill Exhibition with never-been –seen –before artefacts and references to life events.

Blenheim Palace 7k Run

Starting at 11am the Blenheim 7k is a scenic race around the magnificent 'Capability' Brown Parkland. With a junior race option (1 mile) the race leads runners past the Palace and over the Grand Bridge, before a spectacular lakeside section. An excellent event for all abilities.

Battle of Blenheim Specialist Tour

Blenheim Palace was built as a gift to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough after his victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. This talk & tour explains the importance of the battle and those who fought in it.  Alongside this, you will learn Marlborough's march to the Danube and the preparations for the battle, the course of events on that fateful day and the aftermath both at the scene and in the political outcome.

Photography Course at Blenheim Palace

Learn a new skill in a beautiful setting with the Photography Course at Blenheim Palace. The course is a mix of theory and practical which will teach students to take full control of their camera. The course is 3 hours in length and runs between 10:00 and 13:00.

BBQ Season is back at Blenheim Palace

The delicious Pleasure Gardens BBQ returns every weekend from May, until June where it fired up every day. Enjoy the Adventure Playground, Marlborough Maze and Butterfly House before tucking in to a delicious range of sizzling locally sourced food, including Cotswolds beef burgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob and much more!

Lambing at Blenheim Palace

The 300 Blenheim Ewes have crossed the Grand Bridge to their bursary paddocks ready to give birth to their little lambs. Take a walk through the 'Capability' Brown parkland and spot lambs frolicking as they begin to arrive.
