Dog-friendly, luxury Cotswolds Inn, the Old Swan & Minster Mill will this year be running exclusive Canine Country Etiquette classes so pooches can learn a thing or two in the stunning Cotswolds surroundings.

The training and behaviour lessons are organised by the hotel's partners, Cotswolds Pet Services, and take place in the wildflower field behind the property. Lessons available include dog obedience training, puppy to adult training, country etiquette training, gundog training, dog behaviour and water training. The lessons start with an initial assessment, followed by dog environment training, dog dietary advice and tips for guests to take away. A certificate and luxury dog treats are also given as a farewell gift. Lessons start from £15 per dog for an hour long class, advanced booking is required.

Located in the Cotswolds village of Minster-Lovell, boasting some of the best canine friendly facilities including a number of dog-friendly rooms, the hotel is the perfect place for a countryside stay with a dog. Guests travelling with dogs can expect dog beds and bowls in their rooms, doggie bandanas and even freshly cooked dog dinners from a bespoke canine menu. Visitors are encouraged to explore the 65 acres of beautiful Cotswolds countryside where there are specifically designed walks for dogs, ranging between two and eight hours. After a long stroll with their four-legged friend, guests can head back to the hotel and warm themselves in front of the fire before sitting down to a sumptuous, locally sourced, dinner in the Swan Inn. Doggie stays start from just £245 per night, minimum two night stay.
