Attention all food and wine devotees: Lock the 12-15 June 2004 in your diary for a love affair weekend of gastronomic delights, otherwise known as Tastings at the Top. Experience the true taste of Tasmania at Cradle Mountain Lodge, enjoying three days of tasting and discussing Tasmania's finest food and wines at this renowned Winter event. The comprehensive three day program includes workshops and tastings conducted by some of Australia's well-known and popular wine and food specialists. For the food fiends unable to attend this particular weekend � there is no need to worry, as Cradle Mountain Lodge will be running Taste of Tasmania weekends throughout July, August and September. These weekends (accommodation Friday and Saturday nights) will feature a range of food and wine workshops, a gourmet dinner as well as opportunities to enjoy the incredible natural beauty of the region. Taste of Tasmania Packages start from $495 per person twin share and include accommodation in a Pencil Pine Cabin, Tasmanian Tasting basket packed with gourmet goodies and a bottle of wine.
