Share a table with the best food and wine producers of New South Wales at REGIONAL FLAVOURS - A SHARED TABLE on Thursday, 11 October, 2001 for only $99.00 per person.

Renowned regional chef Michael Manners from Selkirks Orange heads the exclusive dinner, starting at 6.30pm along the waterside of Darling Harbour. Experience the flavours of the mouth-watering banquet of New South Wales� finest food and wine produce from Northern Rivers to Riverina.

By tasting the produce and meeting the characters �behind the scenes�, �foodies� are introduced to regions offering gourmet delights which are fresh, distinctive and full of flavour. Platters of specially selected in season produce will be served individually for sharing at each table. Over 10 produce items have been selected for this dinner ranging from fresh asparagus and Yamba prawns to Mandalong Lamb. Participants will also have the opportunity to sample a cross selection of New South Wales wine especially sourced followed by cheeses and coffee to finish this special dinner. Following the dinner, take time to explorer further the tastes of New South Wales at the Regional Flavours � Taste the State exhibition on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October � one of the many great events of the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Month in October.

Held along the Western Promenade, Darling Harbour, the Regional Flavours exhibition allows viewers to experience the multitude of original tastes and flavours of New South Wales for only $11.00 per person (concessions $8.80, children free). The tasting ticket allows participants to sample and discuss the product from each geographic area of New South Wales with the respective producers.

The exhibition is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday 13 October, and 10:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday 14 October, with tickets available on the door.
