Sonoma County Tourism

SONOMA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — The one million visitors coming to Super Bowl City in San Francisco will have the chance to taste wine from more than 50 Sonoma County wineries at the Taste of Sonoma lounge, located near the iconic Ferry Building on San Francisco's waterfront.

Visitors can also enter to win Sonoma County prizes, including a stay in the wine country. Super Bowl City runs from Saturday, Jan. 30, to Sunday, Feb. 7.

Taste of Sonoma Lounge: wine, prizes
More than 50 wineries from the famous Sonoma Wine Country will be pouring at the Taste of Sonoma Lounge during Super Bowl City. Different types of wines will be featured in “flights” so tasters can try a variety of wines or go for one single type. Wine educators and winemakers will be on hand to talk about the daily wines and answer questions.

A schedule of which wineries will be pouring each day can be found at www.sonomacounty.com/SB50.

Wine will also be offered for sale by the glass or carafe. Wines can also be bought and shipped to the homes of football fans visiting from outside the area.

Visitors to the Taste of Sonoma lounge can also enter to win hourly and daily prizes, as well as a grand prize – a two-night trip to Sonoma Wine Country, which is just 30 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.
