East Point, Ga. – The city of East Point, Ga., is excited to announce the return of their Taste of East Point celebration on Saturday, May 6, from 3 to 9 p.m. The annual event, formerly known as East Point Spring Fling, will feature local food tastings, live music, art and more. Tasting tickets will be available for $1 per taste, along with a variety of beer and wine for purchase, merchandise vendors and local artists and community organization booths.
“We are excited to continue the success of Taste of East Point with our neighbors and friends, as well as community members looking to explore the vast culinary and art scene of our city,” said Tal Stanfield, president of the East Point Main Street Association. “This year's event will highlight our vibrant, rich community in a fun and engaging way.”
Taste of East Point will feature live jazz, funk, soul and R&B for guests to enjoy as they explore downtown. Confirmed acts include 2unes and Jae Crue & the mar-tans. The event is located in the Downtown East Point Commons at 2757 East Point St., right across from East Point City Hall and just one block from the East Point MARTA Station.
Taste of East Point is produced by the East Point Main Street Association and sponsored by the City of East Point.
