Budding adventurers are invited to join Aurora Expeditions and their climbing guru, Tashi Tenzing, to learn more about trekking through the Himalayan countries of Nepal and Bhutan. To celebrate the recent 60th anniversary of the first ascent of Mt Everest, a series of information sessions will be held in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne in July and August.

Tashi, who is the grandson of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa (who completed the first ascent of Mt Everest with Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953) and has climbed Everest three times himself, will present an illustrated talk on Aurora Expeditions' latest trek itineraries, covering the highlights and attractions of both Nepal and Bhutan. Tashi will also share his insights into Sherpa culture, and the incredible history of the Tenzing family.

Each event will also start with a short presentation on Aurora Expeditions other exciting destinations including Antarctica, the European Arctic and the Kimberley Coast.
