For pre-school age children Ed Vere, whose latest book 'Bedtime for Monsters' was shortlisted for the 2011 Roald Dahl Funny Prize, will be at the Verandah Resort & Spa, Antigua hosting daily  storytelling for young chilren from 3 - 11 June. 

Ed has been writing and illustrating books for children since 1999 and has had his books published all over the world. 

Ed’s award-winning books include 'Mr Big' and 'Chick', a pop-up book, which won the Booktrust Early Years Award for best baby book for 2009.

The events are free to attend for all guests who are staying at the resorts on an all-inclusive basis and can booked with tour operators including Virgin Holidays

As well as live drawing, readings and quizzes, the sessions will involve mask-making, junk sea-monster modelling and other activities all designed to bring stories to life.
