Classic Cottages are pleased to be collaborating with the Newlyn School of Art and Cass Art to be part of an Outdoor Painting World Record Attempt. The World Record attempt in question is to bring together the most people painting a landscape outdoors at the same time in the same place. This will take place between Lands End and Sennen in West Cornwall on 1st September 2019 and it is open to all ages and levels of experience, from complete beginners to professionals, so there’s no excuse not to join in!

Not only will this be a fun event for the whole family, the aim is to raise funds for essential conservation work creating new stone footings along the coastal path of England’s most westerly point. This means that the footpath will be accessible for future generations to enjoy and help in the protection of the existing and rare flora and fauna along the coast path. A great cause, I’m sure you’ll agree.

We are pleased to be offering the chance to win a 7-night stay in a luxury cottage on 31st August – 7th September to coincide with the event. The cottage sleeps four, has stunning sea views and will be located near to the World Record Attempt.
