At the Awards Dinner of the Association of British Tour Operators in France on Monday, 24th November 2008, WPu member, Judy Armstrong won two awards.

In the Magazine category, Judy won the award for Loire: Sea to Source published in France magazine, a cycling touring feature based on a one-month cycle trip across France, following France�s longest river, and getting under the skin of rural France and her people.

The same article went on to win Judy the French Travel Article of the Year.

Judy comments: I specialise in writing and photographing active outdoor sports � besides cycle touring, I cover sea kayaking, horse riding, walking, ski touring and ski mountaineering (on telemark skis, just to make it even more interesting), mountain biking, via ferrata, motorcycling and adventure travel. With a base in the French Alps, France is easily my most specialist �area�, but I also write regularly on New Zealand (I�m a Kiwi) and Britain (I live in the North York Moors national park).
