Take A Plane, Train And Ferry This Spring To Discover British Columbia's Top Three Urban Hotspots: Vancouver, Whistler And Victoria

Destination British Columbia

Experience the best of British Columbia with a nine day exploration by plane, train and ferry taking in the sights from Vancouver and Whistler to Victoria on Vancouver Island. May is the perfect time for a whistle-stop city tour as the sun is out and there are fewer crowds, giving visitors the chance to see the best of the West coast.

First stop by plane: jet from London to Vancouver and spend four nights experiencing British Columbia's cosmopolitan hotspot. Hire a bike to explore Stanley Park, wander around Granville Island or taste cocktails in cool Gastown. A sightseeing tour of the city is included in the package.

Second stop by train: hop abroad the Rocky Mountaineer and climb from the Sea to the Sky along the famous highway, enjoying panoramic views of the Coastal Mountain Range, with an included stop off at the Squamish Lil'Wat Cultural Centre. Spend two nights in Whistler, a charming alpine resort nestled in between world renowned Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and breathe in the mountain air with a round of golf or a spot of mountain biking.

Third stop by floatplane: take to the skies again on a floatplane from Whistler to Victoria and enjoy spectacular views of the Gulf Islands and the Howe Sound. Once in Victoria, enjoy an exhilarating three hours on the water searching for whales, porpoises, seals and other marine wildlife, as well as exploring British Columbia's quaint provincial capital during a two night stay.

Fourth stop by ferry: on the last morning in Victoria, spend a couple of hours exploring the beautiful Butchart Gardens that will be in full bloom, before taking the ferry through the Gulf Islands to Tsawwassen and on to Vancouver where the tour comes to an end.

The nine day city break tour costs from £1,670 per person based on two people sharing a double room on a room only basis, including return flights from Heathrow to Vancouver with Air Canada, four nights accommodation in Vancouver, two nights in Whistler and two nights in Victoria and the tours and transportation mentioned. Based on travel in May. For further information or to book visit www.1stclassholidays.com/canada or call 0845 644 3939.
