Tackle the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Vip Style With Exsus

Exsus

Setting out on the Inca Trail for the trip of a lifetime needn't mean dusting off the backpack and forgoing creature comforts thanks to a new luxury option from Exsus.

Intrepid travellers can now tackle South America's most famous trek whilst enjoying full VIP dining services and fine wines, sleeping in vast tents and revelling in hot showers. What's more, this luxury trek is supported by porters to carry all camping equipment and food, with staff to look after all camp chores.

The safari style tents come with proper camp beds and super warm sleeping bags, sheepskin throws, hot water bottles, slippers and a nightly turn-down service, complete with chocolates. Upgraded trek dining means china plates, wine glasses and comfy chairs, whilst the gourmet camp cuisine is deliciously prepared by expert chefs dishing up Peruvian, international and nouveau Andino fare, washed down with fine wine and cocktails. If tackling the trek itself sounds a little like hard work, a professional masseuse can be arranged to accompany the group, for an extra cost.

Additional highlights of the Andean adventure include touring the Pisac Ruins, perched high on the mountain overlooking the picturesque village of modern Pisac, full day horse ride visiting the salineras (saltpans) of Maras and high tea served beside the world-famous Machu Picchu ruins, along with the chance to be one of the last to leave before boarding the deluxe 'Hiram Bingham' return train to Cusco.

The 10 night luxury trip costs from £5,195 per person including international and domestic flights, four days'/ three nights' VIP trek with all camping equipment, permits, porters, meals and guide, seven nights' five-star hotel accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis (plus some lunches), Pisac ruins tour and Wayra horse show, horse riding to Maras, Machu Picchu tour, Hiram Bingham train to Cusco and half day Cusco ruins tour, based on four people travelling.
