Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney is the first 5-star hotel in Sydney to launch a one hundred percent vegan high tea.

Already renowned for their high tea offerings (including gluten free and child friendly options) the hotel launched their new vegan offering in February 2017. The vegan high tea menu features mouth-watering sweet and savoury items such as Stuffed Moroccan pumpkin flowers, Chocolate cake with beetroot icing and Roasted pumpkin and herb scones with soy cream and jam.

All of the items on the menu are made from scratch and prepared fresh daily by pastry chefs Jacob Teo and June Liu who together have over 45 years' experience in respected commercial kitchens.

Specialist vegan chef June Liu joined the Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney after working for several years in other iconic vegan restaurants in Sydney and Sydney's Inner West.  June's passion for vegan cuisine is evident in the menu. “I like to see people eat healthy and my goal is to spread vegan cuisine far and wide” said June.

The hotel is proud of their newest offering and is a perfect demonstration of their commitment to a holistic health and wellness strategy as an extension of its purpose, to care for people so they can be at their best. The hotel has introduced many wellness offerings including 100% non-smoking policy, free in-room 20:20:20 – a complete wellness regime for body and mind, #BluRoutes – a series of walking and running routes around the city and extensive Pillow Menu for guests to enjoy.

The hotel is known for their progressive high tea menus and was one of the first Sydney hotels to launch a gluten free high tea in 2015. High tea is served daily in the Fax Bar or Lady Fairfax Room of the newly refurbished hotel between 10:30am and 4:30pm. Group bookings and private high tea functions are also welcomed. Please note that because the vegan high tea is prepared fresh bookings are essential, walk-in guests with no booking who would like to order the vegan high tea may have to wait up to 45 mins.
