Tucan Travel are delighted to announce the launch of four brand new swimming tours. Instead of travelling by truck or public transport, passengers can now sport their speedos and swim from place to place. These itineraries will be going live on their website on Saturday 1st April.

CEO Matt Gannan was quoted “We are excited to debut these once-in-a-lifetime tours. Adventure travellers can now front-crawl their way down the Zambezi River, breast-stroke down the Amazon, plunge into the Aegean Sea and practice their butterfly between the Thai Islands.”

Swim the Amazon

7 days | Leticia to Iquitos | Price from £1417

Starting in Colombia, you will swim a portion of the Amazon River, ending in Iquitos, Peru. This is perfect for wildlife-lovers as you swim amongst anacondas, river otters, piranhas and the rare pink dolphin! You will stay in lodges along the shores, with jungle hikes and night swimming excursions included. This is the ultimate tour for anyone who has wanted to lift the lid on the Amazon Jungle.

Swim Africa

You will get to front-crawl through four different countries, dodging crocodiles, hippos and white-water rapids along the way! A jeep will accompany your journey, setting up camp-sites on the banks of the water, with a few safari-drives thrown in for good measure.
