Sweden´s Travel News & Inspiration - July/August

Visit Sweden

The highly anticipated and much enjoyed Midsummer festivities are passed and Swedes start relocating to their summer cottages, only reappearing during the first 2 weeks of August, refreshed, rejuvenated and calm. Did you know that today, Sweden has more than 600,000 privately owned holiday homes for its 10,5 million inhabitants, according to Statistics Sweden (link in Swedish)?

While this all happens, in the UK many will be taking a holiday at home or abroad, but for those of us still working attached is this July and August´s travel news and inspiration from Sweden for your coming articles.

Some places remain on small group press trips this autumn for those wishing to express interest in joining. Equally, do get in touch if anything in our news inspires a commission and press trip.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer, whatever you´re doing and wherever you´re going.
