This festive season is particularly exciting for the staff and guests at the four star Lodore Falls Hotel   - it marks a decade of Christmases with the Graves family who own Lake District Hotels Ltd and they are celebrating in style. They have introduced a Swan Lake theme and have also created ten top treats for their festive breaks.

The Swan Lake theme was chosen by staff who love watching the swans on the lake outside the hotel, quite an apt theme since Tchaikovsky wrote the ballet in the era the hotel was built. Bedecked throughout with the Swan Lake theme, there are silver, white and black mannequins, ostrich feathers, diamanté sparkle, ballet shoes, tiny glass ballerina’s, over seventy Christmas trees and swags of pretty decorations.    

The festivities begin mid-November when the festive menu is launched and the first Swan Lake Ballet performances begin on the 24th November.
