The Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa General Manager, Neeraj Chadha has been promoted to the national position of Multi Property Vice President Australia.
Mr Chadha joined Marriott as Director Australia and General Manager of Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa in February last year.
In his new role, Chadha leads Marriott operations, strategic and tactical efforts of the Australian portfolio consisting of 1,527 keys, and is also responsible for the success of the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa.
Mr Chadha has spent much of his career in Australia working for global brands Starwood and Radisson before he relocated to Asia where he managed the Goa Marriott Resort and also worked with brands including Hilton in India and Sri Lanka.
Before his role at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa, Chadha held the position of Regional General Manager, India Hilton Worldwide where he was responsible for Hilton Worldwide India operations.
With more than 20 years experience in various markets worldwide - 10 of those years in General Manager roles, Mr Chadha comes to this new position with a great knowledge of tourism markets both nationally and internationally.

Marriott International Area Vice President - South Asia and Australia, Raj Menon said he is confident Chadha will exceed expectations in his new position.
