This week, for the rst time, the Shanti Foundation, Shanti Collection and L Hotel Seminyak will support Bali Pink Ribbon who will be oering free breast screening in three dierent locations - 1st of May at Gedung Wanita Santi Graha, Jln Sudirman, Denpasar, 2nd of May at Gedung Kerta Gosana, Kantor Bupati Badung and 3rd of may at Kantor Kepala Desa, Duda Timur Kecamatan Selat, Karangasem with 100-250 participants expected. A total of 200 snack boxes for Balinese women will be prepared by the culinary team of L Hotel Seminyak and Shanti Collection in conjunction with the aforementioned social programme organized by Bali Pink Ribbon as part of our corporate social responsibility for the Bali community. This Singapore management hospitality group, on a yearly basis organizes a day of “Loving, Giving and Sharing” on 21th December to pay tribute to budding artists and less privilege kids by throwing an Open House, with food and activities. At same time, the Group nurtures home grown talent by providing scholarships.

This free breast screening programme for Balinese women has been organised by the Bali Pink Ribbon team working with volunteer doctors & nurses from FeM Surgery Singapore,led by Dr. Felicia Tan, using 2 mobile USG units on loan from Philips Singapore. The Singapore doctors will be assisted by BPR volunteer doctors and nurses, led by Dr. Dian Ekawati from Prima Medika Hospital, Denpasar. Prof. Tjakra Manuaba, Head of Oncology at Prima Medika and Medical adviser to Bali Pink Ribbon, will be giving the seminar at the Badung breast screening roadshow.
