Another awesome family destination has gone live in the tween travel app Bound Round, with today's launch of the Sunshine Coast. Packed full of videos, photos and fun facts, Bound Round's travel app presents kids with engaging, interactive content that shows them the best things to do as reviewed by like-minded children.
Attractions included for the Sunshine Coast are:
- Australia Zoo
- Fraser Island
- Kingfisher Bay Resort
- Noosa Beach
- Opals Down Under
- Strawberry Fields
“The launch of the Sunshine Coast brings the total number of travel destination guides within Bound Round to 14,” said Janeece Keller, Founder, Bound Round. “It's exciting because we've doubled our content in the first six months since our launch. It's proof that the travel industry understand the valuable niche tweens hold in the travel decision-making process and that they're investing to influence tween opinions on what's a “must do” on holidays.”
App Specifics
Bound Round is designed for 8-12 year olds to play with before and during their holidays.
Bound Round's guiding principle is to deliver travel content “by kids for kids”. The app presents kids' recommendations on what to do and where to go. All Bound Round content and technical developments are approved by the Bound Round Kids Board before release to ensure they meet the demanding requirements of the tween market.
“Bound Round puts the elements kids love most – videos, photos, games and interactivity – at the heart of the app. This is what Bound Round is all about; content that is specifically designed for kids thanks to the input of peer-reviewers,” said Keller.
The Bound Round interactive travel app is designed for iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded for free via WiFi and 3G through the iTunes App Store. It is also available online at http://app.boundround.com.
There are 14 detailed destination guides available in-app for Australian families, including: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Uluru, the Blue Mountains, Lake Macquarie, the Sunshine Coast, Phillip Island, Dubai, Fiji, Hong Kong and Singapore. The app also includes more than 200 kid-friendly attractions.
