From weekly golf academies and tournaments for the young and old to fitness programmes and its increasingly-popular 'Picnics in the Park' and 'Movies in the Park' nights, the renowned family complex is offering the very best in sports and leisure over the coming months.
And a family of four can enjoy accommodation in one of Quinta do Lago's luxury two-bedroom townhouses from only €230 per day until the end of August (minimum seven nights), with a selection of special dining options also available to tickle the tastebuds.
Located across the resort, Quints do Lago's range of highly individual restaurants all take advantage of fresh Mediterranean produce and scenery that the resort has become so famous for including some some of the finest seafood in the region. The resort's newest addition to the gastronomic portfolio, The Shack, offers a unique lakeside location for a light meal or sunset drink and is set to be the coolest spot around, with a DJ on hand to put you in the perfect mood at 'The Shack Sunset Evenings', which take place every Wednesday until the end of of August from 7pm until midnight.

At the heart of the busy summer schedule will be the resort's Paul McGinley Golf Academy. Utilising Quinta do Lago's driving range and the popular, adjacent Koko Lane bistro, the venue will host Picnics in the Park every Friday for a seven-week period from July 4, as well as screening a broad selection of films and a range of weekly events and promotions for food lovers, across its portfolio of restaurants and bistros.
For keen junior golfers, the academy will again be running its popular Junior Golf Schools, Monday to Saturday, during school holidays throughout the school holidays. Five three-hour sessions can be booked for €165 per week – with lessons starting at 2pm.
In addition, a mini-golf challenge will take place every Friday during July and August while the McGinley Junior Cup is expected to attract a strong field of boys and girls when it is held.
Quinta do Lago's Active Q gym and open-air studio are available with a full schedule of classes, as well as outdoor sessions to include a two-day beach boot-camp programme, family orienteering sessions, bike rides, the fun 'Dash and Splash' fitness programme where a group run is followed by a swim in the lake, and adventure runs along the scenic nature trails of the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
The watersports centre, which boasts an exclusive spot within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, provides youngsters with the opportunity to try sailing, canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing.
