The Chatwal Hotel

This Summer head to New York City for a family visit when New York truly comes alive and the warmer weather allows visitors to explore all of Manhattan's neighbourhoods on foot.

Stay at The Chatwal Hotel and make the most of their guest rooms and suites, some of which boast beautifully landscaped terraces – a rare sight in the heart of midtown New York, just moments from the city's top attractions.

The Chatwal's dedicated family specialist in the concierge team will create unforgettable experiences to keep children happily amused.  Tickets for entertaining as well as educational tours of any one of Manhattan's world renowned museums, chocolate making masterclasses at the celebrated Dylan's Candy Store and securing front row tickets at Broadway's most in demand plays and musicals can all be trusted to the team at The Chatwal. Children's favourites currently include The Gazillion Bubble Show, Aladdin, Wicked, The Lion King and Sesame Street Live tour

The Summer festivities are marked with New York's annual Fourth of July firework event which lights up the NYC skyline and an opportunity to join a Scavenger Hunt at the Heckscher Playground. Established in 1927, this is the oldest playground in Central Park and features a shaded area with swings and slides, a large, maze-like climber and water feature with tunnels and ramps. Water flows from the highest point of the climber and children can play under a variety of water jets.

Families may choose to visit the sports complex on Chelsea Pier, explore and learn at the Air & Space Museum or ride on the Hudson River to the Statue of Liberty on a 70-foot powerboat hitting speeds of up to 45 mph.

The Chatwal Hotel will also take the hassle out of hailing a cab with its complimentary town car, a “Chatwal red” Mercedes Benz, which is on hand to chauffeur drive the family within 20 blocks of the hotel in any direction. Those who prefer to view the city by walking can reach the famous Times Square within seconds, hit the stores on 5th Avenue, in just 10 minutes or head over to leafy Central Park Zoo in only 15 minutes.

The hotel has thought about everything to entertain the little ones, with the hotel's mini bar offering a selection of candy in old fashioned glass jars. The Chatwal Hotel are currently offering a family of four a four night stay for the price of three, in two Deluxe King adjoining guest rooms with breakfast from £720.00 per night based on two guest rooms.
