Summer Holiday Activities at the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery in Bath

The Roman Baths

Families can enjoy an array of fun activities this summer at the Bath & North East Somerset Council-run Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery.

All activities are either free or included in the admission price. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all events.

Togas and Tunics

Monday 25 July, 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm Included in admission price

Find out how the Romans dressed in our summer holiday family activity.

Legio

Monday 1 August, 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm Included in admission price

Investigate the Roman army and make a shield.

Gem

Monday 8 August, 10am-1pm and 2pm-4pm Included in admission price

Explore the gems found in the hot spring and make some great designs.

Little Britannia

Investigate life as a child in Roman times.

Curious Coins

Find out about some of the Roman Baths' special coins.

Tuesday Times Tables

Tuesdays, 12 July-23 August, 6pm-8pm Included in admission price

This series of evening sessions looks at objects from the Roman Baths' collections. There will be opportunities for handling original artefacts.
