Action Outdoors have launched February Half Term 'clearance deals' on ski holidays to major resorts in the French Alps with UCPA.

February Half Term week, normally renowned as being the most expensive week to ski in the year, has become highly accessible with some deals through Action Outdoors. The resorts available are some of the most highly regarded in the Alps and include Chamonix, Argentiere, Val d'Isère and Val Thorens – all highly snow sure and showing current snow conditions as excellent.

Holiday example includes: 7 nights full board accommodation, 6.5 days ski pass, 6.5 days ski equipment hire, 12 hours of ski lessons through the week and evening entertainment – cost per person: £550

Action Outdoors have teamed up with Snow Express, who run regular scheduled coaches from the UK to the Alps directly to the resort and whilst return 'budget' airline prices from London to Geneva are showing in excess of £718 return for those dates without any baggage allowance, Snow Express are offering a price of £180 return to the resort and there's no baggage charge at all. Simply enter the code “teachersaregreat” at checkout to get an extra £40 off the normal price of £220 return.

Dates for the holidays are: 13th – 20th February, 2016

Owner of Action Outdoors, David Robertson comments: 'February half term is always one of the most expensive weeks but our accommodation at the UCPA centres aren't under as much pressure as other tour operators as it's not a busy week for the French. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who wants to ski but is restricted to the holiday weeks, such as school teachers'.
