Following last July's launch of the Sud de France wine tourism portfolio, known as the "Club Oenotourisme"; last week from the 9th to the 14th September, five tour operators from the UK took part in a fam trip visiting some of the top wine tourism sites of the southern French region of Languedoc-Roussillon.

Languedoc-Roussillon is an exciting wine region. The largest in the world it is celebrated for its diversity and innovation. The tour operators in attendance included Abercrombie & Kent, Bright Horizon Travel, Grape Escapes, SmoothRed and Tastes of Italy, all of whom visited a large proportion of over 20 businesses which form part of the Sud de France Club Oentourisme: from majestic Chateaux and wine tours, to Cistercian abbeys and wine hotels.
