Six students from across the country to win holiday of a lifetime with StudentUniverse and Topdeck's #GetMeToOz campaign
Students from across the UK will be competing to win a holiday to Australia as StudentUniverse, the world's leading travel booking site for students and youth, launches a six-week campus tour across the UK in partnership with Topdeck Travel, the number one provider of unforgettable group trips for 18-39s.
The #GetMeToOz campaign will visit six universities in six weeks, offering students the chance to win a holiday to Sydney as well as exclusive travel discounts and vouchers.
The tour, which started on Tuesday January 31st, will spend four days at each of the following campuses:
- University of Southampton (31 Jan-3 Feb)
- University of Sheffield (6-9 Feb)
- Manchester Metropolitan University (13-16 Feb)
- University of the West of England, Bristol (20-23 Feb)
- Bournemouth University (27 Feb-2 March)
- Newcastle University (6-9 March)
A different activity will take place on each of the four days and, to be in with a chance of winning, students will have to compete in challenges including: a Crystal Maze-style cyclone machine; a paper aeroplane competition; a 'green screen' photo contest; and a crack the code challenge. Everyone who participates will receive a £20 voucher towards discounted travel with StudentUniverse and Topdeck, and the winners of these mini-challenges will go through to the grand finale.
The final challenge is a True or False competition that will see hundreds of competitors running between two points on campus to answer a series of Australian-themed questions. Any students giving an incorrect answer will be disqualified until there is only one man or woman left standing as the overall winner.
The winner from each university will receive a seven-day Sydney Discovery (Work & Play) trip, provided by Topdeck, and return flights to Australia, provided by StudentUniverse.
