Stay in Devon has been announced as a winner in the ‘Best UK Holiday County or Region’ category at the prestigious British Travel Awards. The award was announced on Thursday evening at the Halloween Night Gala Awards Dinner, which was attended by nearly one thousand members of the travel industry at Battersea Evolution in London.
Stay in Devon has been awarded bronze at the British Travel Awards, beating a number of other popular holiday destinations. Only re-launched in February this year, Stay in Devon are delighted to be flying the flag for the county.
On winning, Managing Director, James Morris said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Stay in Devon and we are thrilled to bring bronze home for the county. We hope that this will encourage more visitors to enjoy the stunning South West, and the award itself proves just how popular Devon is as a holiday destination.”
