With The Ryder Cup returning to Scotland this year from 23-28 September, The Roxburghe Hotel & Golf Course has launched a package for golf fans.

The Ryder Cup Package includes dinner, bed and breakfast and includes transport to and from Berwick Station. The offer includes tea or coffee and light snack on arrival, 18 holes on the Championship course, two buggies per 4-ball and lunch after the round, all for just £299.00.

Commissioned by the Duke of Roxburghe, the 7,111-yard, par-72 Roxburghe Golf Course is widely considered one of the top inland golf courses in Scotland and is the south eastern region's first Championship course. Set in 200 acres of parkland, and a key feature of the beautiful Roxburghe Estate, the course was designed by legendary golfer and course architect, Dave Thomas, in 1995 and was opened by Colin Montgomerie and Sir Nick Faldo in 1997. The signature hole is the 14th, a 585-yard, par five known as 'The Viaduct.' With its elevated tee commanding superb views over the River Teviot, the fairway hugs the river on the left and an imposing viaduct looms across the horizon.
