Ballina Lakeside Holiday Park has teamed up with a champion Stand Up Paddleboarder (SUP) Jenny Ryan to host a SUP weekend workshop 1-3 May 2015. The SUP workshop allows keen paddlers to gain tips and expertise from a legend in the sport while enjoying a weekend break away. 

Jenny has competed in both Australian and international SUP titles including the Olu Kai in Hawaii. Weekend workshop participants will benefit from Jenny's wide experience as they get a hands on lesson in the safe and picturesque waterways of beautiful Ballina, on the Far North Coast of NSW. 

"I'm a water baby” says Jenny Ryan. “I love the ocean and being in it regardless of what craft I use. I love to SUP in Ballina as it's always fun and exciting, seeing all the wildlife and finding fun waves. Ballina is special with its many waterways and empty beach breaks to explore. I'm very excited to be hosting my first SUP weekend workshop in such a great location".

The weekend workshop gives enthusiasts a chance to embrace their sport and meet other keen paddlers, while also enjoying a relaxing weekend away staying on peaceful Shaws Bay lake.

The package also includes a warm up strength and stretch Pilates class by well-known local studio Lifeworks Pilates and welcome drinks on the Friday night.

The total package costs $274 per person for two nights, staying twin share in a luxury two bedroom Hub Cabin.
